MOBILE APPS- INVALUABLE INVESTMENT FOR YOUR BUSINESS

We all are surrounded by the mobile apps and technology is used highly in every aspect in our vicinity. Now the level of mobile app revolution has reached to the level where it is beyond the reach of desertion. Albeit, there are various reasons to pick the mobile app revolution, but due to the instant hike in the mobile users, it has increased the demand of mobile apps to be adopted by every industry and domain. Mobile apps are useful not only for the users, but for the business owners too, because it has shrunk the world to an accessible axis where anybody at any point of time can enjoy the freedom of accessing the required information or services.

Mobile Apps Make The Business Accessible

It is not easy for any business owner to work 24/7, apart from some exceptional cases, but on the regular basis, it turns out to be a hard task to accomplish and even you can’t access the global customers from your brick and mortar business premise. Mobile apps are adopted smartly by every industry across the globe, and people buy the products, regardless of their time-zone, language barrier or distance. Mobile apps have brought every product at our fingertips, where we can make a purchase with a convenience of time & place. Your business gets accessed by all across the globe and they can make an instant purchase.

In the era of competition, it gets a rat-race to compete with other business. Websites are used quite lesser being compared with the dedicated mobile apps for your product, so the regular traffic on mobile app helps you to understand the customer behavior, also the review/feedback/ rating system helps you to improve your product or fix the product issue, according to your customer’s requirement. A TECH-CHAPTER FROM GOOGLE I/O 2016

A TECH-CHAPTER FROM GOOGLE I/O 2016

Google has always left the world and specially me, speechless with it’s unique and invincible tech concepts. It has been proven further with their recent announcements made at Google I/O 2016. I have always adored the way, Google announces it’s new set of technologies. Even this year, Google I/O was initiated with 7,000 developers and journalists at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. But something which became the center of excellence was the way Google did things, it was highly unprecedented this time, being compared to previous years. This year Google introduced some bold new consumer-facing products that reflected technology’s biggest trends.

So, I would be sharing a brief of all the tech gadgets introduced within this conference. There are various gadgets, announced during the Google I/O 2016. Here is the excerpts from the tech-story.

At first, I would like to talk about the Google Home, which is actually a loudspeaker with internet-connection that responds to voice commands and offers access to a smart assistant in the cloud. Albeit, Google’s vision has crossed the imagination, since this device integrates with Google Cast, the home entertainment technology that powers the company’s Chromecast streaming adapter and is increasingly finding its way into stereo systems and TV sets as well. Due to the integration, Google Home brings voice control to any Chromecast-equipped television. This enable voice access to Google-powered calendars and messaging, and can control internet-connected light bulbs and other appliances.

For my bad luck Google Home has not been released yet and cost has not been discussed as well, else it would have been in my lounge.

Another gadget, which wooed me thoroughly with its impressive specifications, is Mi Box, which is a courtesy of Chinese phone maker Xiaomi. It is combined with Android-based gaming with video services like Netflix, Hulu, Showtime, and HBO Now. Something which excites me most, is Mi Box’s base on Google’s Android TV platform, which make it run on TVs from Sony and Sharp, among others. It’s not the first set-top to use Android TV, but it is the first to support 4K video playback and HDR.

Another sad story to conclude with is, no clue on cost has been revealed yet.

To end the gadget war, I would love to share another gadget, which I found quite exciting and engaging, is Daydream, which is a huge leap in the field of virtual reality. Google has opened a new era of VR, by not just focusing on a single VR headset; instead, it’s working with mobile-phone makers, including Samsung and HTC, to manufacture VR–optimized phones, available later this year, that will work with Daydream headsets. These headsets will be more comfortable than Google’s previous Cardboard viewers, and will come with a remote control for playing games and navigating menus. Google plans to sell its own Daydream headset as well.

The company has partnered with HBO, Hulu, Netflix, and sports leagues like the NBA to build VR Apps that will populate a Daydream version of the Google Play store. YouTube, which is owned by Google, is getting ready to launch on Daydream as well.

With these incredible tech gadgets news, I shut my Tech Diary for today. Keep reading to feed yourself with the latest tech updates.

SHOCK-WAVES FROM ANDROID MISTAKE-POOL

Recently, one of my friends put an interesting post on FB, which raised the eyebrows of Android lovers, including me. But somewhere back in my mind it hit my sub-conscious to look into the depth of this news. Though, I doubted the authenticity, since Android can never cause this blunder, but I got a sky-fall when I tried marshmallow at my end, and faced the music. Then suddenly it brought some new and exciting revelations to me, on comparing an iPhone with an Android phone. The iPhone has created a splurge on every smart phone available in the market. No surprise, but iPhone eats a big chunk of the profits of all smartphones; on the other hand smartphones in order to survive, end up looking beyond a smart phone. But unfortunately, the race of beating the iPhone, force Android smart phones to make blunders.

iPhone has created a niche for itself in the existing mobile market, and the reason is its rigid nature towards its all features, if you beat your head strong, even then you would not get a single feature which has been missing in any iPhone model since its inception, on the contrary Android choose to pick and choose a facility with its each model, to name a few IR blaster from Galaxy S6 has gone missing from Galaxy S7. The Nexus 4, 5 and 6 had wireless charging, but it was given a miss in the Nexus 6P and many more to discuss. If I talk further, then even the same platform doesn’t act same for all handsets, for instance- TouchWiz interface, it varies from one handset to another; Galaxy S6 interface is different from the interface that runs on Galaxy Note 4, although for writing, they both are based on Android 5 Lollipop. On the other hand, iPhone stands still with a tag of being exclusive and expensive, yet almost all the software features are the same.

Android phone makers always try to give users an experience to cherish forever, but what they forget, these efforts do not go all well with the users. To talk further I will discuss about software platforms, sometimes get so irksome (like my friend experienced), and sadly, you can’t even uninstall them, if you don’t like them.

What Android phone makers are failing to understand, once a software evolves, then it becomes more complex, it needs badly better set of components to run the show with a single technology glitch.

Sorry, Android makers, but such inconsistencies, increase the switching mode always ON for the user to switch from one Android phone to another from the same manufacturer or maybe from the entirely different maker.

So, after scribbling my thoughts over the paper, now I can empathize with my friend and many others, who suffered the horror of Android technology.
